VECKTA’s onsite energy platform enabled the rapid deployment of a solar energy solution for an iconic New England property
Boutique hospitality company, Untold Collection, has partnered with VECKTA, the world’s first onsite energy marketplace, to install a solar energy system on its boutique hotel in Lenox, Massachusetts, Berkshires Untold. Working with VECKTA, Berkshires Untold completed feasibility, system configuration, and a competitive procurement process to eventually choose Opal Energy Group for a nearly 240-kilowatt rooftop system.
The solar energy system will offset 60% of the hotel’s electricity consumption, generating an estimated $853,000 in savings over the next 25 years. As a result, the hotel will reduce carbon emissions by 2,836 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalents, which is the same amount sequestered by 2,845 acres of forests in one year.

What traditionally would have taken 6-12 months to complete was accomplished in just 4 weeks through VECKTA’s platform and with support from its advisory team. The system began with an indicative assessment that automatically generated a comprehensive report using only the hotel’s address as an input. This initial assessment, powered by more than 5,000 data points including regional solar performance metrics and utility rates, produced an estimate that proved to be within 10% of the final installed system cost.
Opal Energy Group, a national solar, EV, and battery storage developer and installer, expects to begin construction on the project in September of 2025.
